Bespoke Handmade Game Pie Course Limited to 5 participants Join us for an intimate, hands-on day dedicated to the craft of traditional British game pies. This small-group course is designed for just five participants, ensuring plenty of one-to-one guidance in a relaxed, enjoyable setting. You will learn how to make proper hot water crust pastry from scratch, before creating your own bespoke game pie using free-range pork combined with a selection of seasonal wild game, which may include venison, duck, pigeon, pheasant and partridge. We will explore how to balance flavours using dried fruits, herbs, spices and carefully selected liqueurs, giving depth and richness to each pie. Throughout the day, refreshments will be provided, and the course is delivered in a friendly, informal way that is both informative and fun, suitable for enthusiastic home cooks and those looking to refine their skills. By the end of the course, each participant will leave with their very own handcrafted game pie to take home, along with a deeper understanding of traditional techniques, flavour pairing, and the art of working with wild game.
